ABOUT OXTED NETWORKING

How it all started

Way back in 2016 Lee Pegrum, an inspirational Events Manager came up with the concept of walking and talking meetings.

She handpicked some of her best networking buddies to help with ideas to make Oxted Netwallking a successful group.

Until the Covid 19 Pandemic Oxted Netwalking had regular networking meetings. Lee took up a full time role with the rather busy NHS at a time when the rest of the world had time for more walks, sadly Lee had to pause the group.

Tansy Jane took over the walks during 2023 bringing her expertise in Mindfulness, Coaching and Forest bathing.

With the 2024 relaunch of Oxted Netwalking our aim is provide inspirational people to walk alongside you in providing advice in all areas of life.

Event Organiser and Project Manager

Indigogo Event Organiser and Alliance for Better Care NHS Project Manager

From the tender age of 21 events have been in Lee's blood, she just can't resist organising!  It all started when she formed a car club which then led to creating a motoring weekender attracting 10,000 people and this was just for fun.

Years later and events are now an integral part of her business from charity events to networking meetings just like  Oxted Netwalking.

Lee started working for the NHS during Covid to keep her busy! This led to her spreading her working work between the NHS Ageing Well project and events.  Its all about the balance!
